Dear Friends and Neighbors, 

As we gather with family and friends to celebrate our nation's birthday, we are reminded of the courage, sacrifice, and determination of those who built this country and secured the freedoms we enjoy today. The 4th of July allows us to reflect on the principles that make America great, such as our individual liberty, hard work, and the desire to make our communities stronger.

As a rancher, small business owner, and advocate for Wyoming's communities, I've seen the strength and resilience of the people who call this state home. Our nation's promise is rooted in the idea that with determination and opportunity, individuals can build a better future for themselves, their families, and their communities.

That promise is alive and well here in Wyoming. It can be found in the farmers and ranchers who steward the land, the small business owners who create jobs, the teachers who invest in our children, and the neighbors who step up to help one another when challenges arise. These values define our state and make our nation a special place to call home.

As we celebrate Independence Day, I am grateful for the freedoms we enjoy and for the opportunity to work alongside so many dedicated Wyoming citizens. I hope you and your family have a safe, joyful, and meaningful 4th of July celebration.
