I was raised on a cattle ranch in central New Mexico, where I developed a deep respect for the relationship between the land and those who care for it. That interest took me to Texas Tech University, where I earned a B.S. in Range Management and an M.S. in Range Science, researching prescribed summer fire and grazing strategies in the Northern Great Plains.
My husband and I now run a ranch and several small businesses in Laramie County, including a consulting practice focused on land use, agriculture, conservation, and natural resource policy.
Ranching, land stewardship, and family life are central to the Wyoming way of life. It is the reason so many people are drawn here. I’m running to preserve that lifestyle for every Wyomingite. Everyone deserves a chance to build a thriving family, access and enjoy public lands, and live by the values that make this place home.
